About Devita Jacobs Design Studio Devita JacobsFounder & Principal Devita Jacobs is an Emmy Award-winning designer and the founder of Devita Jacobs Design Studio — a boutique interior design firm based in Atlanta, GA. A 2026 Children's & Family Emmy winner for Set Decoration on Disney+'s Descendants: The Rise of Red, and a 2025 Art Directors Guild nominee for both Descendants and Civil War (A24), Devita brings a discipline to interior work that most designers don't have: the ability to build a complete environment from scratch, under pressure, where every material choice, every lighting decision, and every spatial composition serves a larger story. That background — over a decade in film and television set decoration — is the foundation of everything the studio does. Current clients include American Express, where Devita leads the design refresh of the Centurion Lounge at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport. 2026Children's & Family Emmy Award — Set Decoration — Descendants: The Rise of Red — Disney+
